Canon Ball Sweet Cabbage

Sweet Cabbage – 18th Century

1 Green Cabbage the size of a Cannon Ball
1 Red Cabbage the size of a Cannon Ball
6 Apples pealed and seeds removed
Cut up cabbage and apples
Fresh Butter
Put all ingredients into pot to boil, over
open fire, continue to Stir
Cook over an open fire until
all cabbage is soft and apples are soft.

Sweet Cabbage – Today

1 Medium Green Cabbage
1 Medium Red Cabbage
6 Apples peeled and cored
Cut up cabbage and apples
2 Sticks of Salted butter
Put all ingredients into pot to boil, on
Stove continue to Stir
Cook until Cabbage and apples are soft.


Less is more.
